INFOPOINTS ON TÅRUP STRAND

We are pleased to announce that 5 information-panels have been placed on Tårup Strand.

The panels explain the status of the fire-bellied toad in the area over time, why it is threatened and why grazing is so important to propagate the survival of the species on the east coast of Funen.

All 5 panels are in Danish. However, the two signs on the camping site have QR-codes that take the visitor to a short summary in either English, German or Dutch on Nyborg’s webpage.

Also, the panels stress the importance of NOT introducing fish to the ponds. Fish and fire-bellied toads cannot co-exist.
