15 jun FINAL MONITORING VISIT OF THE LIFE AMPHICON PROJECT
On Thursday and Friday, June 11 and 12, 2026, the final monitoring visit of the LIFE AMPHICON project took place, attended by an external project monitor from ELMEN EEIG.
On Thursday, at the Žabja hiša (Frog house) in Radensko Polje Landscape Park, we reviewed the progress and final results of individual project actions and provided explanations regarding the project’s financial implementation. In the Radensko Polje area, we also inspected a road section with permanent amphibian mitigation measures.
Friday’s field visit took place in Ljubljansko Barje Landscape Park, where we visited an outdoor classroom established as part of an activity aimed at education and raising awareness about amphibian conservation. The classroom is one of the elements on the ‘Pot na Mah’ educational trail. We also stopped at two road sections where amphibian permanent mitigation measures were implemented, namely the Bistra and Pako–Goričica sections.
