10 Jun Lectures for target groups
Last week, Radensko polje Landscape Park conducted two lectures on the topic of amphibians for tourist guides. Tourist guides of the Cer Association got to know amphibians in the immediate vicinity of Vodomčev gaj, while local tourist guides gained knowledge about amphibians as part of the training on Radensko polje Landscape Park. To spread the knowledge further, we also presented the legal basis for the protection of amphibians in Slovenia and the rules for handling them. Turist guides also had the opportunity to meet a common toad and tree frog in live.
Education of target groups such as tourist guides, is very important due to the possibility of faster dissemination of knowledge and real information about amphibians to the general population.
