Networking (E2.1) and replication and transfer of project results (E2.2) are closely related and both subactions will run parallel, especially in second half of the project when trough networking activities dissemination of project results will also take place to assure replication and transfer of project results and solutions.
Networking activities and seminars will accumulate knowledge about target species conservation and provide “best practice” exchange of conservation solutions. Furthermore, the invited expert guest speakers are important for external input and ideas.
A clear set of actions for networking, replication and transfer of the actions and results and the measures taken to ensure the actual replication or transfer are necessary to provide EU added value of the project. The activities foreseen are needed to transfer the know-how and the experience obtained in present project in order to foster their replication and transfer in similar contexts.
When applying for the LIFE AMPHICON project, the Municipality of Zagorje ob Savi demonstrated its commitment to biodiversity and wetlands by signing a declaration of support. In addition, it committed to transferring certain project activities to the local environment, which is also experiencing increased amphibian traffic on the roads....

Last April, the LIFE AMPHICON project team visited collegues from Landschaftserhaltungsverbände (LEV) near Ravensburg in the southern part of Germany. They showed us around their breeding station for the moor frog and shared experience on the measures to protect amphibians.
